We connect with ourselves, sense the surrounding nature, and dance with others. Breathing comfortably and starting with somatic practices, we will take the time to safely connect with the natural world through the act of seeing and being seen. We will explore various environments, playing both on land and in the water.
๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐จ & ๐๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐
We are each unique existence, we are all different. Yet, can we create something together? Valuing our own sensations and listening to one another without forceโwill harmony emerge? Or will it not?
Can we feel a sense of oneness with nature?
Can we maintain that sense of openness in the body and senses when we move into the studio and the performance?
To begin, relax, breathe easily, and connect with yourself and the here and now. Open your senses and explore while connecting with both your inner and outer worlds&space. Play with the connection &sensations in your body and the rhythm&quality of your breath and water. We will explore space and work towards a performance, dancing while observing and being observed. solos, duos, trios, or groups... if you have ideas youโd like to try, we can experiment, create scores, and enjoy the performance together.
Letโs embrace the unknown journey with a light heart.
