Contact Improvisation is a dialogue of weight, balance and touch between two moving bodies.
I have practiced Contact Improvisation since 2016, started the Zero Angle project in Shanghai in 2017 bringing CI teachers to China, and today live and teach on Koh Phangan, Thailand: weekly classes, jams, and five-hour private labs for groups of up to eight. I teach from one question: where does support come from? The ground, a partner's weight, your own two feet.
The Practice Journal
Each entry documents one class from both sides. What was taught and why, and what the dancers found, quoted from the recorded closing sharing, with permission and without names. The two are rarely the same, and the distance between them is where the teaching lives.

Classes and labs
Weekly classes and jams in Koh Phangan, and five-hour private labs for dancers who want to go deeper: direct hands-on feedback, long-form scores, and time enough for something to actually change. The current schedule lives in the community group; the Journal announces each lab.
Read along
One email a week, one minute to read. What was taught, what the dancers found, one thing to practise, one thing worth your time, and a question to carry.
